Giulia Mengato, MS

I was born in Padova, a city located in northern Italy.

I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Ferrara, and currently I’m attending the final year of the Master’s degree in Veterinary, Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the University of Parma.

I’ve started my Master’s internship in the Department of Medicine and Surgery in the Systems Medicine Laboratory, where I am also doing the experimental Master’s thesis.

Beyond sciences, I do have a strong interest in languages, particularly Spanish. In fact, when I was 16 years old, I decided to spend a year abroad in Paraguay. Once I came back home, I began volunteering with the same association I’ve travelled with. Thanks to these experiences I’ve learnt to adapt to environments and cultures which are very different from my own.
